This Monster Promotions Schedule (this “Schedule”) is published by Monster Strategy, Inc. (“Monster”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and is incorporated by reference into the Monster Terms of Service posted at mnstr.xyz (the “TOS”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Schedule have the meanings given in the TOS. This Schedule describes the feature-specific mechanics of promotional and gameplay features offered in the Application. In the event of any conflict between the TOS and this Schedule, the TOS controls, and this Schedule may supplement but may not reduce your rights under Sections 5, 6, and 9 of the TOS. A feature described in this Schedule applies only while it is active and as displayed in the Application at the time of your purchase.
1. Bonus Features
(a) Can’t Lose. When a Can’t Lose bonus is active for a pack you purchase, as displayed at the time of purchase, your Sellback Offer for the Card revealed from that pack will be no less than the price you paid for that pack, notwithstanding the FMV-based percentage that would otherwise apply. The guarantee applies only to the pack for which the bonus was displayed, and only if you accept the Sellback Offer within its acceptance window, which will be displayed to you at reveal and will be not less than twenty-four (24) hours.
(b) Rip Rally. When Rip Rally is active, each time you reveal a Card in the lowest displayed value tier from a qualifying pack, your odds of receiving a Card in a higher displayed value tier on your next qualifying pack increase by the increment displayed in the Application, up to the maximum boost stated for that pack. The boost resets when you reveal a Card valued at two (2) times the applicable pack price or higher. The boost in effect at the time of your purchase is displayed before you purchase. Any odds or value figures displayed in connection with this feature are estimates derived from the disclosed odds and FMV, and are not guarantees of any outcome.
(c) Dupe Shield. When Dupe Shield is active for a qualifying pack tier, if you reveal the same Card, in the same grade and from the same grading company, from two consecutive qualifying packs, you will receive one additional pack of the same tier at no charge. Free packs issued under Dupe Shield are subject to Section 5 of the TOS in the same manner as purchased packs.
2. Points
You earn Points on qualifying purchases and activities at the rates displayed in the Application, currently one Point per U.S. dollar spent on paid pack purchases, Marketplace purchases, and sellback proceeds, multiplied by any global multiplier displayed at the time. Free packs earn no Points. Points count toward your leaderboard rank and public profile. Where a redemption catalog is offered in the Application, Points may be redeemed for the packs, boosts, perks, and other items listed in it, at the Point prices displayed at the time of redemption. Points are subject to Section 8 of the TOS in all respects, including that Points have no cash or monetary value and are not redeemable for cash or any digital asset. Packs obtained through Points redemptions are subject to Section 5 of the TOS in the same manner as purchased packs, except that Cards revealed from packs obtained through Points redemptions are not eligible for an Instant Sellback under Section 5(e) of the TOS.
3. Drops; Auctions; Sealed Products
We may offer limited-time sale formats from time to time, including auctions (including descending-price formats) and sealed products. The rules for each such event, including pricing mechanics, bid or entry terms, payment windows, and reveal mechanics, will be displayed in the Application before you participate and are binding as displayed.
4. Referral Program
The Monster referral program is invite-only. Participation requires acceptance of separate referral terms, which we provide to each participant at the time of invitation and which set out the compensation payable to that participant. Any participant who creates or publishes content regarding Monster must clearly and conspicuously disclose their material connection to Monster, consistent with the FTC’s Endorsement Guides, and may not make earnings, value, or odds claims not published by Monster.
5. Sweepstakes and Giveaways
Sweepstakes, giveaways, and contests are governed by the official rules published for each promotion, which will state eligibility, entry methods, entry deadlines, odds disclosures, prizes, and any free alternative means of entry. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER ANY SWEEPSTAKES OR GIVEAWAY, AND A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Promotions are void where prohibited by Law.
6. Changes to this Schedule
We may update this Schedule as described in Section 10(a) of the TOS. The version of this Schedule in effect at the time of a purchase governs that purchase.
